Backyard Fall Wedding | Sara & Nick
Happy Thursday! I’m beyond excited to share with you today, this beautiful backyard fall wedding day, Sara & Nick’s wedding!
I’ve known Sara and Nick for a few years now. We first met when I did Sara’s aunt’s wedding in 2018. We had a great time at their engagement session last December, at Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm in Wells, Maine with their pups. And then this weekend, getting to meet more of their family and friends and celebrating their love, it was perfect. A very warm, sunny day (isn’t it October?!) backyard fall wedding celebration with a fun group of family members and friends at a family member’s beautiful yard in Wells, Maine. It was perfect for the wedding and could definitely be a future wedding venue!
Literally, THE PERFECT DAY! It was hot but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, a wonderful early fall day. We started at Marginal Way in Ogunquit for a first look and bridal party portraits. Thankfully Nick is a police officer so we could get away with tricky parking, since EVERYONE wanted to enjoy one last hot October day near the ocean. Then we went to Foot Bridge Beach, a new place for me and I’m obsessed. Finally, getting to the backyard for the ceremony and reception.
Nick and Sara’s family and friends are fabulous and so much fun. The dance floor was packed all night long! Most importantly, the bride and groom looked amazing and you could just FEEL their love wherever they went. My favorite part of this backyard fall wedding was Sara & Nick’s love story being told over and over. The story of how they met in high school and being true high school sweethearts.
