Oh man, where do I begin. I met Tiffany and Dave through a contest I was hosting that Tiffany had entered in after they got engaged. We braved the cold and snow at Echo Lake in March 2017 to take their engagement photos and a few short months later in August we were together again to capture the “I do”s.
I knew from the second I met Tiffany and Dave that this wedding would be unique and memorable! They picked the rental house that had the “best sunset views on the lake” reviews to stay the week and have their wedding at. And boy did they pick the right spot. They told me that that night had the best sunset out of the whole week. Mother Nature knew what she was doing that day.
Tiffany wore her favorite color – black, as did her three daughters. They each had a red sash that matched the rest of the bridal parties red dresses and shirts. Tiffany and her dad wore matching chucks. We did the first look and all family photos before the ceremony so the “I do”‘s could happen right as the sun was setting. And we had perfect timing! The ceremony was very personal and sweet, done by Tiffany’s grandmother. The vows were personally written with love and humor and there wasn’t a dry eye there, including mine. Before the sun completely set, Tiff and Dave took the row boat our for some alone time and to take in the views while I got to capture some incredible images.
Tiffany and Dave, you have truly become my friends and there’s nothing I love more than to capture these special moments in your lives. I’m looking forward to this August when we make it back to that lake house to anniversary photos with Baby Rem!
Xoxo
