A Spring Wedding at Barn at Merry Hill

Happy Monday, friends! Last weekend I had the honor of being part of celebrating Sarah and Ben’s love and I couldn’t be more excited! Today, I get to share this spring wedding at Barn at Merry Hill with you all, and goodness am I obsessed with how this one turned out. So fun! But first, if you’re new around here, let me introduce myself first. I am Alexa Racine, owner and photographer of Racine Photography, NH wedding photographer.

First of all – have you ever heard of the weather trick to bury a hot dog or sausage before your wedding day to bring good weather? Well Sarah can attest to how well it works. Saturday morning, at Barn at Merry Hill, it was raining, cold, and windy but by ceremony time the sun was shining. It was perfection from beginning to end – the weather, the venue, the couple, the party! They had a huge crowd of friends and their families and boy did they know how to have a good time. The dance floor was packed (thanks DJ Tbeez).

The love Sarah and Ben have for each other is unbeatable.

These two are so clearly meant for one another, and their wedding at Barn at Merry Hill was truly the perfect celebration of the love that they share. There were so many little details and stories told. One of my favorite things about this sweet wedding day was the speeches their family and friends gave! We had 40 minutes of speeches and each were heartfelt and funny. It was so special getting to watch how happy their families and friends were for these two as they start their life together! Another favorite was the petal toss as the couple walked down the aisle. The petals were dried and saved from flowers given to Sarah by Ben over the years.

Sarah and Ben, thank you so much for choosing Racine Photography as your wedding photographer! I have loved working with you guys from day one, and I can’t believe you are married! Ah! I can’t wait to see what life holds for you two as a married couple, and I hope you adore this little sneak peek into your happily ever after just as much as I do.
