Brittany & Darrin | Dell Lea Wedding

Happy Monday, friends! Last weekend, we got to celebrate Brittany and Darrin’s love and I couldn’t be more excited! Today, I get to share one of my favorite venues and a Dell Lea wedding with you all, and goodness am I obsessed with how this one turned out. But first, if you’re new around here, let me introduce myself first. I am Alexa Racine, owner and photographer of Racine Photography NH wedding photographer.

I had the honor of getting to work with Brittany and Darrin for their Dell Lea wedding this past weekend! Working at the Dell Lea is always close to my heart as it is where I got married in 2014. I love being back multiple times a year to share such a special place with other couples. They got the best weather, beautiful foliage and the day was a fairytale. After getting ready photos, Brittany and Darrin shared a special first look and private vows before the ceremony with all their family and friends. Brittany also shared a special first look moment with her dad.

With 5 out of 17 weddings this year doing this, I can confirm – burying the sausage works!

The day started out chilly and pouring rain. Brittany told me how devastated she was about the weather since she chose Dell Lea for her wedding for the views, picturesque options and beautiful property. Brittany buried a sausage on the property after the rehearsal on Thursday. Despite the rain in the morning, by the time we got to the Dell Lea, the rain had stopped and we even saw the sun peak through after the ceremony. So future brides, do yourself a favor and bury the sausage for good luck weather wise on your wedding day.

These two are so clearly meant for one another, and their Dell Lea wedding was truly the perfect celebration of the love that they share. One of my favorite things about this Dell Lea wedding day was capturing their love, having fun dance parties with the bridal party, and capturing stunning images with fall foliage. Another favorite was working with the best vendor team! The dance floor was packed all night long – huge shout out to DJ Mike Benoit, the best DJ I’ve worked with.

Darrin and Brittany, thank you so much for choosing Racine Photography as your wedding photographer! I have loved working with you guys, and I can’t believe you are married! Ah! I can’t wait to see what life holds for you two as a married couple, and I hope you adore this little sneak peek into your wedding day just as much as I do.
