Happy Wednesday friends! I’m so excited to be sharing these images from Jim and Victoria’s mountain top wedding at Loon Mountain Resort.
The moment that I first spoke to Vicky, we just clicked! It felt like we had been friends forever. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we were unable to meet in person and do their engagement session before the wedding day. It’s an honor to be part of Vicky and Jim’s special day.
I hope that is true because there was definitely rain. After a gondola ride up the mountain, it was questionable if the ceremony would be able to happen on top of the mountain. It was misting with gusting winds and dense fog. Vicky almost made the decision to go back down the mountain but I’m so glad we stuck it out.
The ceremony site is built into the mountain side and shelters us from the winds. The misting stopped and by the time that the ceremony ended, the fog lifted showing off the beautiful mountain range. It could not have worked out better. The Hogan wedding is officially one of my favorite weddings of all time with the most stunning images.
After the ceremony, Jim and Vicki shared their first dance and dances with their parents right there on the deck. Then their bridal party shared some speeches before the guests went back to the air bnb for a small reception. After the guests left, Jim and Vicky had champagne, cake, and a tea ceremony with their parents. I loved how intimate it was.
It’s been a joy to be your photographer and I can’t wait for you to see all my favorite images. It was so hard to decide which ones to share first since they’re all so good. I wish you all the happiness and love as you start your married lives together!
xoxo
