Happy Sunday! It’s with pure excitement that I share with you today, this beautiful Maine wedding, which was pure perfection, where Allie & Ryan say I do!
I’ve known Allie and Ryan for almost a year now. We first talked on the phone, where Allie and I instantly hit it off and it felt like we had been friends forever. Then I finally got to meet them in person at their engagement session in June. After their engagement session, I knew the wedding would be tons of fun & I was not wrong!
Literally, PURE PERFECTION! The weather could not have been better for this time of year. The sun was shining. It was chilly and sometimes windy but otherwise perfect with sun and a beautiful sunset. The Whitney Farm Estate is a beautiful venue where the couple could stay all weekend and have everything in one location. It also has numerous locations on the property for pictures. Most importantly, the bride and groom looked amazing and you could just FEEL their love wherever they went. I can’t pick a favorite part of their wedding because it all was amazing but Allie’s dress and Ryan’s emotion take top pick!
We kicked off this day of pure perfection with three first looks- one with dad, one with Ryan and his mom, and one with bride and groom. I love first looks. You get that intimate moment with your love without the pressure of lots of eyes on you. Then we have time to get some of the photos out of the way before the ceremony. Allie & Ryan did it right! Especially with those charcuterie cones during cocktail hour – YUM!
The ceremony site was beautiful, set into a field with an arbor between some white birch trees. I love the doors that open for the bride to walk through as a grand entrance. Ryan was so sweet with his uncontrollable happiness and tears. I love when groom’s cry happy tears.
Ryan and Allie were surrounded by their loving and fun family and friends. From the moment we arrived, I knew we would have fun with this group! From making reels and popping champagne, to the bridal party doing shots, the bridal party can be described as F U N! They knew how to party and had lots of fun thanks to the DJ from Direct Effect! The sweets table smelled and looked delicious. And the barn was decorated beautifully.
It’s been a joy to be your photographer and I can’t wait for you to see all my favorite images. It was so hard to decide which ones to share first since they’re all so good. I wish you all the happiness and love as you start your married lives together!
Enjoy, you two!
