Happily Ever After: Felipe & Bruna

Happy Tuesday! I’m so excited to share this post with you all today! The DeSouza wedding was nothing short of perfection and quite the celebration! I first met Felipe and Bruna through our Proposal Story contest where they won an engagement session back in early 2017. I can still remember their engagement session in Boston, where Felipe proposed, like it was yesterday but somehow a whole year (plus some) has passed. Time flies by!

Their wedding day was full of love, laughter and happiness! My favorite part of their day was the reception space that they had professionally decorated with so much detail and beauty. I’ve never seen anything like it. The whole day was a party from the start until the end and let me tell you, everyone had FUN! I also got to experience many Brazilian traditions that I hadn’t experienced before like the sweets table and “cut the tie”. Cut the tie is when the groom puts on a long dress tie and the guests pay to cut a piece of the tie, then keep the piece of tie. The bride and groom get to keep the money! The groomsmen walked around with the groom and made cut the tie such an upbeat, fun event that the groom went through TWO ties!

Felipe and Bruna (and Victoria), I am so happy for you guys and honored to have been part of your special day! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together and can’t wait to capture more of your special moments along the way!
