Vicki’s Sweet 16 | Marlborough, MA

Happy Tuesday friends! I’m full of excitement to share this sweet 16 birthday party with you! When I was asked to come capture this special day for Victoria, I could not have been more excited. I had the honor of doing her mom and step-dad’s wedding back in 2018 so I am unbelievably happy to be back for another special moment in their lives.

Everything about Vicki’s sweet 16 birthday party was perfect.

We started at the same park that we did bridal portraits at for her mom’s wedding. Vicki and her friends arrived in a white stretch limo, dressed in pale pink and Vicki’s ballgown was stunning. The sparkle in the sunshine had me obsessed.

The venue, Red Balloon Events Party Hall, is the perfect place for a party with beautiful decor. I have never seen anything like it. Her mom, Bruna, really outdid herself with the location, decor, and every single detail of this sweet 16 birthday party. It reminded me of a wedding (without the groom)!

First, we had cocktail hour with appetizers, drinks, and light music played by the DJ. The room was beautifully decorated with chandeliers, balloon arches, centerpieces, favors, sparkles and more. Then the guests took a seat to watch Vicki have 3 special dances with the father figures in her life – her dad, her godfather, and her stepdad. The guests and the birthday girl enjoyed a delicious meal, a churro station, emotional and thought out speeches from mom, dad, and stepmom to the birthday girl (there wasn’t a dry eye in the place). Most importantly, everyone had fun celebrating and dancing Vicki at her sweet 16! There was cake and sweets to go as well and everyone partied til 11!

In conclusion, I cannot wait to be invited to the next party with Vicki and her parents! They sure know how to throw a party! Thank you for including me in your special day Vicki (& Bruna)! Love you both! Let’s not wait so long to see each other again! Time to plan the next party!
